Monkeying around: chapter one

As scout emerged from the dust and debris, he carried the glowing rock of legend. His blood stained the green stone as he limped back toward the camp. Just passed the boundary he fell, to weak to move he waited until he was found. As foot steps neared his dying body they shouted his name. “Scout!”, “Scout!”, his eyes slowly opened, “It’s the tenth hour boy, get up!”. The young primates eyes flashed open, he over slept, again!

Hey! I’m a new to the scene young creator. I decided to create story about a Mesopithecus named scout and his adventures around the island. I hope you enjoyed chapter one of Monkeying around and the second chapter will be posted next week
