Tips & Strategies from the iOS & Android apps
A solid first dino tame. Not very strong or fast but it can help bare your weight and in the hostile world of ark a friend is what you really need.
To make your life easier, use a bola. It will keep it from running while you knock it out. Club to the head works well but takes quite a few shots.
This in my opinion the best starter tame. They can hold alot and get berry's pretty well.try to upgrade the movement speed and weight omly.
I have a Parasaur who is a hero! When i was new i had a dodo pen, a Pterra and a Parasaur named Dolby. One day on the island i was getting resources on my raft with my trusty pterra by the swamps. It was by the swamps when them dam devil snakes slam my rafts deck. I fought with extremism , tho i won i felt woosy and passed out in the shallows where i met my fate. I woke in anger and cursed the stoopid island MY RESOURCES MY RAFT MY BIRD ALL GONE! Its a 2 day run back ill never survive! I opened my thatch door to see Dolby gaurding the dodo pen . I told him about my misfortune and something changed in Dolby that day. He had a fire in his eyes and belched out a cry that made the dodos dance a song of storms. He had a will to get back what was best for us, I told Dolby it suicide to go back! But he wouldnt fear anything . We rode, Dolby ran and ran past all who threatened us. We reached the raft. Everything intact. Dolby and i can still be seen making a morning run.Ill always remember Dolby
If a Rex or something big comes these can be a good distraction to give you time to run. Also they're easy to replace. GOOD LUCK😀
Super easy tame. Try to get one that's stuck on a tree or rock to keep it from running away. You have enough time to hand gather berries and narcoberries even if you have nothing when you knock it out.
I got myself a level 150 tame and got to say not a waste of time at all, very useful and look great in a completely pink saddle
Very good for low level berry collection and weight transport. Not the best fighter
Best tame to start with. Name it Ducky for good measure. Yup yup yup!
Definitely something to get you levels, use bolas if available or run them into a wall. A good starter tame too.
