Tips & Strategies
Be warned! If you want a puppy like this little guy to pet and look cute, he’s the best! However!! If you leave it outside (even in a pen) they will get picked up and carried off without you even realizing it. You will be sad. So bring your pets inside! Lol
How to hand feed them cause i don’t know how
EGGS, LYSTROSAURUS, JUST GIMME EGGS! GIMME EGGS, I WANT A DIPLODOCUS!
easy to tame lynthos are also good for killing
Usually passive. But if u steal the egg they will attack you. It was Creapy.
You can feed it betrays to tame it just tame one frist
Because this is a small creature, Argentavis can pick it up in its mouth and follow you, meaning you can essentially have a flying Lystro follow you around and give you the Exp buff, just make sure to pet it every once in a while, very useful for when going on killing sprees with a big creature like a Spino Rex or giga and levelling up
These are dangerous they killed me while trying to get and egg to feed me and I SWEAR 10 CAM OUT AND KILLED ME
1. Do not knock him out.
2. Feed him any berries, mejoberrys are more effective.
3. Don't let him get hungry for long time because the taming % will start dropping, so stay with him and wait until he get hungry again and feed him.
Fun fact the Lystro is an ancient ancestor of mammals. When you see one tame it, they can be very rare. I suggest using mejoberries. These guys are tough, but can't take on fast dinos like Raptors. Trust me I learned the hard way... "Your Lystrosaurus lvl 13 was killed by lvl 23 Raptor".
Sometimes the taming bar may go down, you should stop trying. Just move on to another one.
I just started out on a new single player world and one of these was the first Dino I tamed, and then also the second, third, fourth and fifth. They follow me everywhere (albeit they are slow) and XP buff each other so they level really fast. I put each level into carry weight and boom- five level 70 pack horses in my first hour on a new ark. Each one can carry many stacks of rocks and wood. The only problem is: they eat all my berries.
I was trying to tame the thing and my And my two (male) parasaurolophus killed it Immediately I was like STOP KILLING IT noooooooooo that’s my story for now 😅😀
