Stories Tips
What are some stories about the triceratops? Memorable triceratops stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
One day I was just riding my parasaur on the beach, i was on my way to show my friend my brand new armor. As i was riding i noticed an egg, i was curious which dino layed it. So i dismounted and saw it was a trike egg, i mounted my parasaur and left the egg there. Or i thought, i was hungry so i opened my inventory. I saw the egg sitting there, i realized i accidently picked up the egg. I closed my inventory and looked behind me, the trike was chasing me. I hid my parasaur behind a rock and knocked the trike out with my hands. It was a lvl 2 so it was prettig easy. My armor was strong so i did not die. It finally fell unconscious. I stuffend it full of mejoberries. After a while he was tamed. I named him Trooper. I made a saddle for Trooper and i rode him back to my base with my parasaur behind me. Trooper quickly leveled up. He is still protecting me to this day.
The story of Trooper
I'm relatively new to the game and playing through the story maps with my friend before ark 2 comes out we tamed our first trike this morning and this afternoon my friend was offline so I built a base by myself we lived on a hill and I needed hide so I went down or the beach to kill dodos. On my way down a theri aggrod and killed me and my trike R.I.P. Infinity
I used to have a triceratops and we explored every where. We would always win our battles. One day I was walking along side him and put him on neutral and mad him stop so I could kill a pteranodon and when I came back a Sarco killed him. I was so sad I declared war on the sarcos and every time I see one I kill it. I know it seems extreme, but I loved that triceratops. R.I.P spike

When i was level 10 chopping trees and gathering berries, a spino attacked my base. It was a bloodbath. I had 7 dilos, a moschops, 1 parasaur, and one of those turtle things i forgot the name of. I whistled to follow. Only two dilos, the turtle, and moschops survived. Remember: If you see a spino, RUN.
The ark journals chapter 2
The first encounter
Today was risky I nearly died on the second day!
I saw a gigantic creature. It did not take a scientist to find out what it was. It was a Rex a t,rex I was getting a better look from the beach then a giant spined creature with a flap of skin on its back slapped me into the water. I tried to swim away but it swam faster than a small sail boat. I swam to the Rex and let them fight I did not stick around to see the winner. My back still aches I have claw marks down my spine! I won’t be writing for a few days it would just be a story of me sitting a rock eating berries and groaning about the pain in my back.
To read the next chapter go to the spino part 3 coming soon
I took a ride on Trikel Jordan (my main and strongest trike). The trip may if been short but I was mainly gathering materials to continue my Stone house. During the trip back me and Trikel ran into a Alpha rex. This was already a bad sign I was in-between the choices of running or standing my ground as The rex was so close to my base. I did what any brave person would I stood my ground. Sadly midway my trike was took down by the vicious bite as said red. But his pass was a courageous move due to him I was able to take the red down with a few simple shots of my pistol as Trikel got the health on the alpha down enough. Though his loss was saddening (as I had him from day 3 to 127) it prevent my other Dino's from dying.
Do you want to here a story? Then this is for you! So I have a sarco on my island and so I knock a trike kinda close to where the sarco is and I’m only lvl 14, and new, so it sounds bad... and other people say it’s easy to tame them when their highly aggressive. But, I’m feeding the trike, and then the sarc- JK! The trike just starts flying and moves closer to where the sarco is and I’m like “WHAT THE HEK!?” Up if you think this is funny! Have a great day! Good luck if you have anything different this week!!
Trust me, this is not fiction. I was just a simple person, no tames, just building a small base. FYI: I’m on a beach. So, a little ways down the beach, a sarco emerges from the water. Of course I’m dead scared of this because I have basically no weapons. Thankfully it went in the other direction. But it suddenly attacked a trike. The trike fought, and another trike helped. The first one died, the second one killed the sarco. I went over to the body, the trike didn’t collect. I got some good stuff from the inventory, some hide, and some meat. Then, like a hour later, I’m off exploring a little ways away from my now completed base. I have some tames, and suddenly a sarco (yes, another one) emerges from a lake. Of course I remember my earlier time. It looks like it’s coming towards me, and I’m kind of again, scared. I run off in between two trikes. The sarco hits a diff trike, diff from the two I ran between. One of the trikes helps, and they together killed the sarco (neither trike died). Again, I looted the dead sarco. I go back to my base, happy because I had looted another sarco. The end, and if you see a sarco chasing you, find some trikes.

Chapter 12: Bob, King Of The Beaches
Although I was still injured, Me and Harvey set out on Dagger and Master to find some other tribes to help us. Bob insisted on coming so I carried him with me. We all needed an emotional support Bob. We trotted though the jungle, forests, plains until finally arriving on one of the beaches. We found our first hint of human civilisation when Master took an interest in some warm human feces. Gross. Turn round the corner and there is a whole village of people in thatch houses and clothes similar to the ones Ruby made me when we first met. There were hundreds of them, some shirtless and all of them jacked. They had this… ‘Tribal meeting’ when we arrived, and it was around a massive fire with a load of dilos cooking on a spit above it. We approached with caution.
They were all laughing and happy when we first saw them, but when they noticed us spears and bows and slingshots and clubs were raised to attack us. We put our hands up, and Bob squarked in panic. Hearing this squark, they seemed to lower their weapons and slowly creep up to us.
“We come in peace.” I said.
“Who are you?” One asked. “Are you with that ‘Empire’?” They said in a mocking voice.
“Never!” Harvey responded, hate in his eyes.
“Is the dodo with you?” They asked.
“Uh… Yes. He is.” When I told them this, they put away their weapons and welcomed us like old friends.
“My friend! We would love to welcome you to our group.”
After being escorted into their village, I noticed how they had made it a dodo haven. Dodos were everywhere- on the houses, in the houses, wherever you looked really. “You see, we hunt the beasts that hunt the dodos, and feed the dodos. They are sacred to us. It is our tribe’s duty to protect the dodos.” I looked at Harvey, and Harvey looked at me. “So how did you become such good friends with this one?” The man asked, stroking Bob lovingly.
“Well… It isn’t dodo-friendly…” They gave me a quizzical look but asked me to continue anyway. “Well, he wouldn’t leave me alone so I kind of beat him unconcious and fed him… When he woke up, he was like a well-trained melodramatic dog.” They gave me a disturbed look but after thinking it over, accepted the idea. Then Harvey moved the conversation towards trading. After a lengthy discussion, they told us about red berries and the ‘tranquim’ (that they called narcotic) mixed together making a healing juice. Harvey acknowledged this, and said that now we know how to make it we must be back to our wounded. They thanked us before we left.
“If ever you need an ally, we will be here for you.”
On our way back, we heard the unmistakable stomps from Retribution. We hid in a nearby crevice until he had passed, and I checked my quiver. I told Harvey to keep going, and that I would be back later- I had just found the solution to another one of our problems.
-Hope you liked it! A dodo-loving tribe. Next will be in Phoenix!!
