ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies
The ULTIMATE Dino team: island, mobile compatible too
Tanks: 3-5 sarcos, a therizno, and 2 brontos
Scouts: high level raptors, and mabey some sabbers
Attackers: 1giga, 2 spinos, and a Rex (if no giga spino is great sub)
Pursuits: (not on mobile) a small team of pegos with some itchy seagulls both are to drain supplies
Ariel team: idrk about aerials so Iโm thinking a quiztle and some pteranodons and tappys canons attached and riders with bows
When attacking a op tribe with these dinos here is a good strategy:
Send the scouts to survey the camp, and report back. Send the aerials first, they will be kinda of wave 1/2 and will distract the op players and keep eyes mostly off the ground. Then send in the pursuits. They will rob most of the players out of their stuff and distract them. Now, start moving in the tanks and the attackers. Have the brontos break through any wall that keeps the others from getting in and then start demolishing the base. Have the raptors and sabers stay at the edge of the base to catch escapers. With this strat you will totally ruin someoneโs day but become sooo op if u

DO NOT CRYOPOD IT WITH A PLATFORM SADDLE IT DESTROYS YOUR WHOLE BASE AND ALL YOU WORK
Quetz usually spawn at red obelisk, if you don't see one wait a few minutes for t to spawn. If you are looking for a high level kill the lower level one so it another can respawn
I have been looking one for days and when I go to the red obby I find 2 in less then 10 mins so go there and up this
Where these bois spawn
1) The Red Obelisk and to the left near that Island ๐ฅ
2) The Green Obelisk and near the herbivore Island area๐ฉ
3) Sometimes the snow mountains ๐
NOTE: The red Obelisk is where you will most ๐

I found one. I wasnโt prepared.
Up for me to tame one soon!
I dared follow it and waited for it to come down and rest. Unfortunately, quetzals seem to fly forever. So guys, whoever is thinking of doing the same thing, don't. You'll just waste your time.
So... I figured out the exact spots for the spawns ๐ The primary spot is just behind the red obelisk on the thin little strip of land near the southern island. (I almost always see one spawn there) I also find them frequently spawning around the โback spikeโ of the red obelisk. You will almost always find a quetz around these two places. (At least on mobile) If you want a high level, just kill the one that spawns at these two places and a new one will always respawn back at those two places. This technique worked for me.
If you canโt find any check around Craggs island/Red obelisk.
For 'The Center' map the common spawn locations tend to be near any obelisk, as well as around 55,45 or cruising around the entirety of Jungle South. It's worth checking around lava island too.
Low levels seem to spawn neared red obbi on the island. If you're looking for one, head over there
