More Ichthyornis Stories Tips
I had the pleasure of befriending one of these animals. Despite popular opinion, I find ichthyornis birds to be quite charming and graceful. So much that I found myself taming one. After he woke up, I saw a fire in Greg. From then on, we would be best friends. He’d come with me everywhere. From simple resource gathering to Bronto taming, Greg would be there supporting me from my shoulder. When I was too tired to go fishing or hunting, Greg was there to do it for me. He even makes the effort to make sure I get the best meat out of it. He is a quick learner, he went from from level 20 to level 40 in a day. Anywhere I go, he comes. Anything I need, he makes it his top priority. To this day, Greg continues to be my best friend and sometimes we just hang out on the beach or go fishing even when the resources aren’t needed. I thank Greg for his time with me and his endless favors that he has completed for me. Thank you, Greg.
Protectors of Pandora
Chapter 49 ~the transmission~
(Short one today, haven’t planned out the next part and I don’t have much time to write.)
Nash and the serpents were near the amargasaurus's camp now, they could smell the smoky scent in the air from the amargasaurus spines. They were still grieving and were going solemnly and quietly. Suddenly the sky-dome of the ark started glitching. “I bet Ssalizzar iss behind thiss…” Seascale said. Then they saw a huge screen pop up in the sky, (kinda like in the hunger games) it was Ceasar, and he was sitting down in a wooden chair in a strange room with all kinds of technological equipment behind him. “Ron, Nash, Ping, and Seascale, I don’t know if your hearing this but in case you are, we are alright, me Bones, Jaxz and the gigantopithicus troop landed on a desert ark called Hades about a month ago and we are trying to find a way to you. I wish you could talk back, if your still alive… but regardless, we believe the artifacts are the key to finding each other, if we can defeat the guardians of our respective arks we should be able to access our arks control rooms, from there we should be able to communicate and figure out how to stop Salizar. Salizar, (he said with a pause) I know your listening, I want you to hear this. We will stop you, and we will return to Pandora. surrender now and we can end this.” Caesar said. Then the sky-done returned to normal. “They’re alive!” Nash said excitedly. “I hope the ssame can be said for thosse crazy birds..” Fin said. “Ron iss very ressourcseful, and Ping hass dumb luck on hiss sside, they’ll be alright.” Seascale said. “if we need to defeat the guardian then we’ll need the artifacts, I believe my friend Xu can help us fight the beast and he’ll be happy to give us the other artifacts, but we’ll have to retrieve the artifact of the hunter from the onycs.” Nash said. “They won’t like that…” Fang said. “No they won’t. But firsst let’ss go get Sskyla back.” Seascale said.
Just tamed one of these myself, after reading the story of Greg I decided there was only one name suitable for this creature. I love My Greg so much, he is amazing. Shortly after I tamed him I was out gathering with him perched on my shoulder when I was attacked by a group of compys, Greg instantly Launched himself off my shoulder and flew into the air with on in his Jaws while my raptor killed the other 2. I've never enjoyed watching something that has attacked me die so much.... Until a couple minutes later. A Dilo ran up and before it could even blind me Greg swooped in and grabbed him up in his Jaws flew into the air and tore him to shreds. 10/10 would tame a whole battalion of Greg's.
Also they are great for catching fish and taming otters.
The house of madness
Chapter nineteen: plans.
“We’ve got information that they’re back in cliffside city so we’ll need to capture them. Here’s the plan….” Marvelo began. “They went back to that city? Wow their dumber than I thought.” Peggie interrupted. Marvelo glared at her. “As I was saying…Here’s the plan. When we go their we’re going to…” Marvelo began. “Improvise?” Daniel suggested. “Scout the area and then converge and attack?” Camille suggested. “Blow up the house? Trust me I know a man…” Jaron said, pointing to himself. “Ditch al yourself members of the team?” Willow asked, shooting a look at Hailey and Jaron. “Will you let me finish?!” Marvelo snapped. “Find a new leader?” Brutus mumered under his breath to Hailey. They snickered quietly. “When we get there we will split up into teams, Brutus and Peggie, and-”
“Me and Daniel?” Willow interrupted. “No Daniel will go with Hailey, and you will go Jaron and I will go with Camille. Daniel and Hailey will bust through the side wall, Jaron and Willow will cover the back, Brutus and Peggie will take the front door, and me and Camille will take the roof. Any questions?” Marvelo asked. Hailey raised her hand. Marvelo ignored her. “No? Ok well feel free to piddle fart around I’m going.” Then he walked from the room. The room was silent. Then a loud growl came from Brutus’ stomach. “Are we gonna eat? Because if I have to wait any longer than I’m going to eat that Pegomastax!” Brutus growled. “Don’t even try it punk!” Peggie squeaked.
Turns out that Daniel was also “perfect” at cooking. He made beef ragu, filet mignot, carrot soufflé, biscuits and gravy, carrot cake, teramisu and even more delicate, delicious food. All the team members (except Marvelo) sat down at the table. Brutus duh his teeth into the skin of a steak and swallowed it whole. Then he let out a loud belch. *BUUUURRPP!* “This is good.” Brutus said. “Yeah! Isn’t Danny just so PERFECT?” Willow asked taking Daniel by the arm and dragging him into her chair with her. She shot a haughty look at Hailey. Daniel smiled exasperated and led her to a private corner away from the table. “Will, are you okay? You’ve been acting rather…strange.” Daniel said. Willow blinked several times until fake tears flooded her eyes. “Oh Danny…it’s that-that aw-awful H-Hailey. She-she’s trying to st-steal you from m-me.” Willow said. Daniel looked over at Hailey. She was sitting next to her brother, laughing and talking with him. “Her?” Daniel asked. Willow blinked her long lashes. “Ye-s you gotta be-believe m-me.” Willow begged. Daniel sighed and pursed his lips. “Will, this can’t work anymore. You’re being very mean to Hailey and I’m very surprised, this isn’t like you. I hate to say this but… I’m breaking up with you. I can’t handle it anymore.” Daniel said, then walked off. Willow stared after him shocked. She ground her teeth in anger. That Hailey stole him from her! Now Hailey would pay. Willow let a evil smile fill her face. And she knew exactly how to.

Chapter 19: Seasick
Part 1/2
“Uhhh, what was that?” Neddy asked as he began to look around frantically. As soon as his eyes spotted the monstrosity within the water he turned white.
“HOLY GUACAMOLE THAT THING IS HUGE!” Neddy screamed in fear as he flailed his arms in panic. Ruby instantly took her legs out of the water and stood up.
“What is that thing Neddy?!” Ruby yelled as she began to back away slowly. Star stirred in her sleep, curling up into a ball and dozing through the chaos. Samuel’s Raptor made a chattering noise and snarled at the beast. Samuel turned around as a bead of sweat dropped down his forehead.
The beast looked like a giant fish-whale hybrid. It opened its mouth for a second and it didn’t have any teeth, but it still didn’t seem like a good idea to be eaten by it. Additionally it was an albino white and had red stripes on its back. The thing looked to be at least half the size of a blue whale.
“Leedsichthys,” Ben finally said as he clenched his fists tight, “That thing hates rafts. It’s going to destroy our raft if we don’t get away.”
“And how do you know that?” Aurora asked with a sneer.
“Well, do you want to find out if it’s going to or not?” Ben replied wittily.
“Okay, I don’t,” Aurora replied, “Don’t play smart ass with me.”
“I’m just saying dude,” Ben responded with a shrug. Suddenly, a wave launched the raft up a little, and everyone was sent flying into the air, except Samuel.
“WOAH!” everyone shouted as they stumbled around. Ben turned green instantly.
“Wow. That one hurt,” Ben gasped as he clutched his stomach.
“Dude… Don’t tell me you get seasick easily,” Aurora replied with fear.
“Yeah… I do,” Ben replied as he lurched forward with a groan.
“Hold on just a moment,” Samuel announced, “I’m going full speed. This might be a little bumpy.”
Samuel grabbed the lever with both of his hands and pulled with all of his might. The sail expanded and the raft began to move just a little bit faster. Despite this, Ben still seemed sensitive to the sea. He leaned over the water and let loose his stomach, an icky residue floating out into the sea and into the Leedsichthys. The Leedsichthys let out a groan as it passed into its mouth, and it paused for a second to cough it out.
“Ha ha! Look at that, dude!” Neddy shouted in glee as he pointed at the Leedsichthys. Ruby turned around and shouted at Samuel.
“Dude, I think you should try going a little faster! We’re REALLY slowing the beast down!”
“Bro PLEASE, no!” Ben begged as he struggled to regain his composure. Even Aurora let out a little laugh at the commotion.
“Enough,” Samuel said, “Ben, how long until we reach the river Ben?”
Ben turned around for a second, gasping for air.
“We still have a long while away… That Leedsichthys might catch up at any moment now, you know they NEVER stop chasing their prey.”
“Can’t we just dock at the coast or something and just continue going by foot? Clearly the open seas are too dangerous to traverse,” Ruby suggested.
“I’d love to but this thing is one bugger to steer, I don’t want to risk it,” Samuel replied.
“So do we have to kill it?” Neddy asked.
“Seems like the only solution…” Ruby said. She pulled her crossbow out and aimed at the Leedsichthys, “And I’m the only one able to.”
“Go ahead for it, Rubes,” Aurora replied as she moved to the side. Ben did too, and Ruby let the first arrow through. The arrow soared through the air like a lightning bolt, then through the water with ease, and hit the beast with ultimate precision. The beast let out a howl of pain, its albino flesh seeping with blood as it poured out into the sea.
“Go go go! Yes!” Neddy cheered with joy. Samuel’s head jolted back for a second, and his eyes widened as he noticed the same red haze floating around the Leedsichthys’ body as the red haze that he kept seeing on the Footpaw.
“There’s no way that this giant beast could be stalking me on the Island, I would have noticed,” Samuel thought with horror, “There’s something else going on that no one else is aware of… Does it have something to do with…”
“THE DIFFICULTY OF THE PROTOCOL HAS INCREASED. AS A RESULT THE SYSTEM MUST BE UPDATED,” the robotic voice had blared a few hours ago. It didn’t really seem to Samuel that things had gotten more difficult… just more stressful.
“Maybe this is one of the variables,” Samuel thought as he jolted his head back.

Chapter 19: Seasick
Part 2/2
A few dozen more arrows later, and the big Leedsichthys let out one last bellow, and it stopped swimming toward them. Its eyes rolled up to the back of its head, and everyone except Samuel got chills down their spine.
“Wooo, I think it’s dead!” Neddy hollered with excitement. Ruby let out a breath of fresh hair as she put away her crossbow. Neddy walked up to Ruby and high-fived her.
“Good job, you ate that thing up!” Neddy said with glee.
“Thanks Neddy,” Ruby replied with a smile. Aurora looked at the two and smiled, and then at Samuel and then back at the two buddies. Ben did a thumbs-up, a queasy look still on his face.
“Yipeeee,” Ben said with a smile.
~
Samuel had turned the raft around so they could go back to the Leedsichthys’ corpse and harvest it for its meat. It took quite a while, and in the end they had decided to just leave most of its body to rot in the ocean. Now the group was off to the river so they could reach the Book Club’s camp. All while they were doing that they were eating a hearty meal of Leedsichthys meat
“Jeez, this meat tastes wonderful,” Neddy murmured with wonder as he took a bite out of the meat.
“Is it because I cooked it? Or is it because it came from this giant beast?” Ruby asked with a grin.
“I’m thinking it’s both, to be honest,” Neddy said with starry eyes, “Oh my goodness this meat is just so scrumptious, succulent if you may, delectable if you will.”
“Man I didn’t even know those words existed,” Ben chuckled as he took a sip of water from a waterskin.
“It tastes sort of like salmon, but it’s silky smooth and whenever I bite into it there’s a CRUNCH, but at the same time it’s soft on the inside,” Aurora commented as she bit into her own piece of fish. She looked at Samuel dreamily.
“What about you Samuel? What do you think of this prime fish?”
Samuel cleared his throat as he chewed on the piece of fish voraciously.
“I think it tastes boring,” he provided his thoughts.
“Oh,” Ruby said with a frown.
“Well, not to insult your cooking or anything,” Samuel replied, “I just don’t find anything interesting to eat. I never did.”
“You’re probably the type of person to eat chicken and rice, huh?” Ben said with squinted eyes, “And unseasoned.”
“Hey how’d you know?” Samuel sarcastically responded while rolling his eyes. Everyone laughed a little, and even Star seemed to be making squawking sounds as she munched on some purple berries.
Ruby’s eyes darted to Star for a second and then back at Samuel.
“Hey, doesn’t your pet want some fish too? I’m sure Star would LOVE my cooking,” Ruby suggested happily. Star nodded her head in certain agreement.
“Dude, you can’t feed dodos meat… they’re herbivores!” Neddy objected with a pointed finger.
“I think you just want to eat the meat for yourself, Star will be fine eating meat,” Samuel replied. Ruby gave a piece of cooked fish meat to Samuel, and Samuel put his palm out for Star to feed. Star tore off a chunk of fish meat and began to chew with her beak. She swallowed the meat easily, leaving Neddy’s mouth agape in shock.
“Whaaaaaa-”
“Star’s a special dodo,” Samuel reminded Neddy, “She’s smart, can eat meat.”
Samuel looked at Star again, trying to pick up more details, trying to figure out what Star was.
“And even acts like a human sometimes, you know?”
Star nodded in agreement, flapping one of her wings and holding them out like a proud eagle, closing her eyes and squawking like a madman. Everyone began to laugh wholeheartedly, but Samuel’s eyes instantly widened.
“Okay, Star is DEFINITELY not normal,” Samuel thought with realization as he blinked his eyes. He rested his back on the pole that held the raft’s sail.
“I wonder if I can find a way to more effectively communicate with Star. I really want to get to the bottom of this,” Samuel thought as he looked up at the night sky.
Ben let out a groan as he stretched his body again, and he got up from the raft to look out into the distance. He squinted his eyes and pumped his fist in the air.
“We’re almost there! The river is just within reach!”

Chapter 17: Back to the Beach
Part 2/2
“Star. I need you to watch over the raptor. Take a break. Eat some berries,” Samuel ordered her as he dug around his pocket. He took out some of the purple berries and put them on the sand for her. As he did, he quickly glanced at Star’s chest. Some of the feathers on her chest were brighter than the others. And when he inspected her closely, he noticed the brighter feathers formed a diamond.
“Okay, let’s go now, Samuel,” Aurora told him. Samuel nodded and got up. He unhooked his own hatchet, and soon the two began to chop away at the trees near the beach.
Each swing Samuel took fell the tree in one swing, while it took Aurora a little bit more effort to chop one down.
“So, you never told me more about yourself,” Aurora exclaimed as she swung at a tree.
“Why?” Samuel asked with a raspy breath, “Why are you trying so hard now? I thought you didn’t like me that much?”
Aurora didn’t respond to that question. She didn’t really seem to know what answer to give. And Samuel caught on.
“You can be honest you know,” Samuel replied, “I won’t judge.”
“I-” Aurora paused, then continued, “I just wonder how I haven’t met you yet. I’d think someone as smart as you I would have met some time, right? We don’t have the same classes and I don’t see you in any of my clubs or extracurricular-”
“I never bothered,” Samuel replied, “I never bothered doing AP classes, joining clubs, or doing any of that. I just did the bare minimum to pass and whatever.”
“But why? You would’ve done so great in those classes!”
“Because I didn’t want to waste my effort trying,” Samuel explained, “I just wanted to get this part of our lives over with.”
“They say you should cherish your childhoods, because once you enter adulthood that’s when life really gets tough,” Aurora said, “Or at least, that’s what my parents said.”
“Yes, so I’ve heard,” Samuel replied, “But at least I’ll have some form of freedom. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
“And what about your future? Your job? None of that can ever come to fruition if you don’t prepare yourself-”
“I already said I didn’t care about that,” Samuel replied.
Aurora stopped swinging her hatchet as soon as the last tree fell down. She sighed, hooking her hatchet and brushing her forehead with her sleeve. Aurora looked at Samuel solemnly, with a sadness in her eyes, and said,
“You know you remind me a lot of… someone I once knew. Except you don’t seem to even care about yourself. You care about everyone BUT yourself. I don’t get why you feel that way about yourself, but it makes me sad. It makes me sad to think that if we were never put on this island, I would have never met you.”
Aurora stormed off, leaving Samuel to bring the trees to Ruby alone. All while this happened, Ben tippy-toed up to Samuel and tapped on his shoulder.
“Dude. I think that means she likes you,” Ben whispered to him.
“Shut up,” Samuel replied. He raised his fist, “Or I’m going to hit you.”
“Okay okay I’m sorry!” Ben cried, “Here. I’ll help you with the wood.”
“Thank you,” Samuel thanked him. The two of them spent the next half-hour carrying trees to Ruby so that she could build their raft. All while this happened, Samuel was forced to think. Think about Aurora, and Star.
“Star, you confuse me every day. I feel like you’re something more than I think,” Samuel thought as he looked out into the bushes. He saw that weird red haze again… And upon the sight he shivered. The red haze disappeared as soon as he blinked, but he really could’ve sworn there was something watching him. Samuel looked at Aurora, who was looking really gloomy just sitting in the sand by herself.
“And, why are you acting like this now?” Samuel wondered as he stared at her.
