My story that happened: Once i was flying around on my griffin and i was just going over the giga spawn area and spotted one. I wanted to tame one, but then i noticed these things are IMPOSSIBLE to tame. Like, even if you even MANAGE to knock it out then it takes so long to get up, that you could probably grow a beard the time it wakes up. Back to story, my griffin died so i just grappled out.

When I was on the Island map and I flew with my pteranodon to mine for some metal. I was flying on top of the mountain and then a level 30 giga spawned. WHO THE HECK PLACED IT THERE. And the worst part is, MY PTERANODON HAD STAMINA THAT WAS TRASH. EVEN MORE WORSE, I DIDN'T HAVE MY LONG NECK RIFLE TO KILL OR TRY TO TAME THE GIGA. I landed like 390 meters away from the giga. He didn't spot us. So maybe I was safe. WRONG. When I was mining metal. I didn't see that my tames have gone down from 23/ 40 to 22/40. When returned the same place my pteranodon was, she was gone and more importantly, The giga killed her and then ran for a rex. The only part I saw was the giga kill a rex while mining. R.I.P Stacy
I just had one of the most TERRIFYING ark moments of my life. so, on The Island, I took my argy and flew to the tundra to pick out a second base spot, I was looking around the mountain and saw a giga below me, I got my telescope and kinda circled over it and looked at it for a bit, then suddenly I realized my argy was flying down... it ran out of stamina and at that moment I was like: βsh_t were gonna fricking die.β I legit thought me and my precious argy were going to die because it crossed RIGHT BELOW US as we were going down and we TOUCHED. IT. once we landed I kinda stood there waiting for the stamina bar to go up and I must have been blessed or something because I got the hell out of there the moment I could see the stamina going up. The giga didnβt notice me, it was busy killing mammoths. THANK GOD. Iβm still shaking... I got close enough that I could see the Dododex button.
Me, Being the stupid idiot I am, decided to move my giga from its nice little ice Berge spot to my new base ( our old base kept getting raided) AND it fell into THE WATER. I tried taking it out, but it's stamina FELL AND DROWNED. (Rip Indominus, level 345) GOOD NEWS, THE SERVER RESETED AND I GOT HIM BACKπππ

I died My griffin right next to giga. My stone structures next to giga. Gigaβs Brain: I rather eat stone than griffin. I get my stuff thatβs right near giga. Back away. Tamed it while eating stone. SUCCESS. Now I have a lvl 170 giga that murders everything and my griffin still alive. Thanks to gigas Favoring stone over food
Anyone else think the Giga should be given a bigger roar? Like the health goes down and so does the melee damage at least give it a blood stopping roar.
Omg I just shot like 500 narco arrows into a 130 giga and I began to worried as I start running out. Iβm on my last arrow and shoot, praying it knocks out, and it just looks at me, so since itβs in flee mode, I run up punch it, and it knocks out. Craziest thing ever
A level 28 giga spawned close to where I lived and I was really worried it would have destroyed all my games and everything I build. So like an idiot I took my quetzal, grappled it and drained 1000 bullets from my assault rifle into the giga only to take away half its health. But if you hurt it bad and it canβt reach you it will eventually run. Try to drive it out to sea and make sure itβs focused on you. It wonβt realize that itβs health is being drained by megs and like that your house and tames are safe.
