They’re fast, the leap distance is incredible. When saddled it becomes a mobile mortar & pestle. Always wanted to make narcotics on the go? Now you can! The back-kick does torpor damage. Aside from being squishy (health is always low), these are a perfect early game mount.

If you are early game and don't have Dino's equus is a perfect early game Dino!! for you and by taming 1 they have a special power they kick their back feet it causes topor to the tatget

Since I haven’t seen anyone say this, equus have six ‘classes’ based off of their power on mobile. If it’s power is 1.99 or less its in the lazy ‘class’, if it’s power is 2-3.09 it’s in the ‘normal’ class and will not have a special name when born, if it’s power is 3.10-4.50 it’s in the ‘swift’ class, if it’s power is 4.51-6.64 it’s in the ‘maiden’ class, if it’s power is 6.65-13.32 it’s in the ‘racing’ class, and finally, if it’s power is 13.33 above it’s in the ‘thoroughbred’ role. This is a good way to get a guess on a babies power when it’s born.

Using lasso on Equus can help you a lot in taming progress, as the lasso can drag many creatures even if they are unconscious!
