Here’s something people should know if they are

A.Looking to tame a Diplocaulus

B.Just now able to access the Dungeons

I found my two Diplocauluses within the dungeon known as Cloven Burial grounds. But before you go, stock up on amber (click the amber icon in your inventory twice every 15 minutes and click on the video ad button) as they cannot be tamed inside of the dungeons so you have to kill them and harvest their implant, followed by reviving them using it. This is what I did. When revived from the dungeons their highlighted areas change color. I recommend going to the red obelisk as it is the safest journey of the three obelisks. Once tamed, I named my diplocaulus Violet Spectrum for her changing color. Upon bringing her home she looked lonely to me, and I didn’t want to give her a normal Diplocaulus to befriend just yet because her changing color isolated her from the rest of her species. So I went back to the red obelisk, went back into the Cloven Burial Grounds dungeon and from their the whole process repeated. Eventually I found a Diplocaulus shortly after killing a Moschops that I now wish I had harvested his implant. I ran up to the Diplocaulus, a beautiful male, who’s highlighted areas were currently light blue (comparable to cyan) and I killed him as they slowly went to a green color. By the time I have harvested his implant, his highlights are showing a shade of blue that could be used in a blue screen, particularly his belly (he flipped over when he died). From their I left the dungeon and respawned at the red obelisk, where Violet Spectrum had been patiently waiting for me. From their I revived the male Diplocaulus that I had killed earlier, and gave him the same treatment as I had given her: bola, tranq and feed. He, unlike Violet, ended up needing a few bio-toxins to keep him asleep, but nothing too much. Once he was tamed, I named him Neon and we all went home. To this day Neon and Violet Spectrum live in harmony in a place known as The Hidden Lake (it’s in the North parts of the island, close to the snowy areas but not in them).

Hopefully you enjoyed and hopefully it helps you if you are looking to tame a Diplocaulus, for whatever reason (Pet, Underwater Journey Helper, etc.)
