Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a daeodon? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a daeodon.
When ramming before you knock out. Try and get it to preform its healing attack. This will drain the food and instant tame. Make sure people see!
only try taming these if you have a massive and consistant meat income, if they get hurt even the slightest or any tamed dino that they heal, they consume a ton of meat
The best name I ever saw for this creature was Chris P Bacon.
So super easy way to tame these guys, Hit them once with any kind of fast moving of flying dino and let them use their healing. After the healing aura goes away Ko them. Instatamed since their food meter is fully empty 😁
Make sure to shoot them in the chin, it’s they’re headshot point
They will use their healing move in the wild and this actually makes taming these burly beasts much easier preventing accidental deaths and making them hungry leading to a 30 second tame
The daedon was found in dungeon with Erie form first kill it an re_alive in the station and tame it.
It on ARK mobile
What I did is picked them up with a argentavis and drop them in a stone 2x2 trap that's 1 wall tall (double doorframes don't work idk bout normal doorframes) then just tranq em out.
Just know these are only found in dungeons on mobile. Please Ark Mobile we want wild ones!
Use Traq arrows to knock because it will take more damage and forces it to heal itself and as a result draining more food. This will drastically decrease how long it takes to tame.
When KO’ing them, they use up food when they use their healing move. As such, they will tame very fast when knocked out so make sure to put a ton of meat in their inventory.

Very good! Very good with breeding! I’d recommend getting one, or multiple. Stack up on health or weight. I use them for when breeding, turn on passive healing Incase the baby runs out of food when I’m offline, so they won’t die of hunger until I can check on them again. So worth getting one!
I tamed a lvl 12 on single player with my fists, so now I have tons of jeroba and a daedon I can barely feed
this is the kind soul that saves titanosaurs. get it.
When taming wyverns keep a pig by it so you never need to give it milk
How to tame a daeodon.
1.bola it
2.shoot in bottom jaw to apply heal so food drain and extra torpor damage
3.feed meat or prime(mutton works the best)
4.have narcotics
5.name your new friend
Enjoy
Still working with combat starve strategy and superior Kibble! Despite dododex saying you can only use a ton of mutton?! please change it back. put it in a pen or fight it at a calm place until food reaches zero. torpor it, kibble feed it, done. no waiting time, will tame instantly if done the correct way.
Either Argy or Quetzal can pick up, also found a majority in the snow biome just south of the east mountain and near the river. Be prepared to force feed like crazy once you breed.
In valguero, they’re incredibly common in the tundra, but they often spawn around dangerous creatures. Picking one up with an argy (with a decent amount of health & a good saddle) and taking it to a taming pen in a safe area is probably the best option if you want to tame these guys
Do not leave it on passive tame when you log off! I tamed my first pig lvl 145, so I didn’t realize you had to turn off passive tame otherwise it uses all food in its inventory and when it runs out it will take health damage.
