Tips & Strategies
These alcoholics drop a bunch of Xperia btw… if you find one past lv 100 and think you can kill it then do it. I got a level easy one my 250 direwolf by killing a level 120 chalico
It’s a chalicoholic, haha
Dude... I thought these were passive. Avoid until you know what you’re doing. I got killed easily and I’m scared to get my stuff back.
Yea...that's not a rock.
Rock-chucking donkey horse thing that likes personal space more than even a therizino. It even comes in packs. New players beware, this guy does not give free hugs.
I saw one of these when I was first playing ark and then I went up to it and it starting throwing dirt at me and blinding me so if your a newby and are a low level stay away from it!
These tanks are found on beaches and cold biomes up this if you found it usefull
I saw someone’s comment say “Beer tree,” like so they know that you get beer from barrels
I have seen so many peeps say “it throws poop at you not dirt” WRONG why you ask because if you find one of these in the snow they throw snow at you they pick up dirt in every other biome besides the artic area because they will throw snow there. I have solved this debate that seemed to ruin many people it’s dirt they throw not poop test it yourself find one of these dudes in the artic and make it angry it will throw snow not poop
Up this if they also throw rocks on Ark Mobile Thank you.
If you don't have beer you can try to tame it with stims if you want to wait 19 years.
Sorry to hear that, R.I.P Goldie 😿
Easy tame even with NO beer, follow my step.
1: Trap it
2: Put a bed near the trap
3: When it's trap, sleep!!!
4: Feed stimberry
(tame meter will goes up extremely fast because its hungry)
[Also I'm playing on mobile so I'm not sure if there will be any differences between pc and mobile]
Description:
Wild
Chalicotherium Obsidioequus is a strange, yet peaceful herbivore, preferring to spend it’s days in tropical climates.
Chalicotherium Obsidioequus is sloth-like, except with a head resembling a horse, wields wicked claws that it uses to grab food from its surrounding environment, yet can prove deadly in combat. It also has a zebra-pattern and appears pot-bellied, allowing it to consume loads of berries at once.
Much like the Gigantopithecus, Chalicotherium Obsidioequus is perfectly fine if wild animals approach, just not if they attack. However, the same cannot be said of survivors, who are attacked if too close. It will however, happily lap up food or beer from said survivors, so long as they keep a reasonable distance.
Domesticated
Chalicotherium Obsidioequus is a social animal, making it a great companion. It can be taught to use what Helena mentions as it’s “playtime habit” combatively, which can be helpful to master in dangerous situations.
It can be carried by a quetz
For beginners these things will spot you in a split of a second so don’t even think of going up to it with a stimberry in your hot bar. Instead, get a ghille suit and sneak behind it and feed it a beer! Don’t use stimberries it is pain And time consuming unless you have a bush of stimberries. They eat berries after they are tamed though. Not beer.
Taming non violent.. Yeah right
After the first feed go away but make sure not to loose it, if you keep following it, it will get mad af and the taming bar will reset..... after the first feed wait by far away from it and when it wants its next beer sneak up to it (ghillie suit reccomended for first try) and give it a second beer and repeat what i said earlier, if you follow my tip, everything will be fine
Did you know that they throw dirt not poop
