Getting a massive TLC update in March 2018. The saddle will act as a mobile smithy, Argentavis will be able to carry with Talons as well as with its beak, reduced carry weight on obsidian and a few other unannounced resources (similar to the mammoth and wood), and will also gain a Rapid HP Regen upon eating (likely from devouring corpses and not specifically food from inventory). Like so people can see!
Use left trigger to pick up animals. Right trigger to attack, witch can also be used on a picked up enemy's. pull left stick back to decelerate and forward on the stick to accelerate. The jump button is used to land and fly.
While slower than a ptera, they're pretty useful. They can pick up more dinosaurs and can kill them while flying, allowing you to pick off raptors and sabres and other small horrors with relative safety. Keep an eye on their stamina, just like a ptera you don't want to be forced down into a death trap
After tlc 2 these guys are a must have for transporting metal, obsidian, and, stone as they have 50% reduction on these and poly. I suggest having a seperate argy for moving stuff with like 2.5k weight and stam
I prefer Argy’s over Ptera’s any day. They have more stamina, health, weight, and more melee damage. Even know that Argy’s lack in speed compared to the Pteranodon’s speed the Argy is better than the pteranodon 100%.
TLC update 2 allows Argents to pick up doeds and anky. The way I found out my buddy was harvesting flint and a giga appears. I was trying to save my tribe mate ended up picking up the anky by accident. Lol
I had a level 115 named Hugo ever since I started the game. I got him at lv 10. I pumped everything on him, especially speed and melee. I highly recommend argies! Their the best! An all around great mount, their a must have. Although sadly Hugo died to a pack of dire wolves, he's still my favorite Dino :(
Now that TLC 2 is out, these things are beasts. Their saddle is a smithy, they fly, they get weight reductions on METAL INGOTS and they can carry two dinos. harvesting a corpse gives them a buff that regenerates about 450 health over 20 seconds. A absolute must-have tame.
