Tips & Strategies
I hope it gets reworked on the landing part in Mobile. These things can take a while to land (depending on how high you are in terrain), but definitely recommend taming it. When I first started taming it I saw it's eggs, then it aggroed on me after I picked them up. Fortunately I had my Ptera with me, which I used to pick it up after it aggroed. After that I flew it back to base and tranqued it out with two tranq arrows (I used a longbow and hit it hard the first time then barely pulled it back the second time and knocked it out that way as to not do too much damage). And then fed it chitin, for Mobile as long as it's a low level (1-5+) you only need four chitin, if it's ten or up you'll need five or more (this is on Mobile). Sorry for the long tip.

Careful not to confuse these with a microraptor. One will flee in fear, the other will rko you and eat your face
Fun fact: Archaeopteryx means βancient wingβ
Make sure you DON'T mistake them for Micros. These dudes run. I've accidentally killed one thinking it was a micro. Always use a spy glass to tell which is which. Finding these cute lil fellas is hard especially with all the thylas and terror birds around. To tame them you'll need Chitin so go kill some ants or dragonflies and then boom you have a lil buddy you can love forever, well y'know until they die or you quit.
- Snippet the Compy
Found on the redwood forest on mobile, thought not that common.
Alright, so basically I found one of these in the wild and REALLY wanted one. But with all the fun things in the Redwoods willing to take out anything that looks at them... Well you get the idea. But when I went to a dungeon and saw a Eerie one I wanted it SO bad. So I killed that one took its creature implant, revived it at one of the obelisks and tamed that glory bird up. Now I have a light up parachute!
These are NOT rare, just hard to find. Keep a close eye on the redwood trees, make sure to circle the trees, and listen for the noise they make.
You can also find these in the fuzzy trees in scorched earth by the small mountain
Won't assault you however if you go near it it will flee. This is because it's skittish in temperment. If you wish to tame keep this in mind
You can tell these apart from microraptors by looking at their tail a microraptor has feathers in a circular shape at the end of their tail but these guys have a line of feathers going all the way down.
This little b*tch is so hard to find even on redwoods? HECK NO you look for them they DISSAPEAR. You donβt want them, they come to life.π
