They can jump out of water and even onto land for a little bit but they cant stay on land for too long or else they will take damage overtime (which is percent based)
It has high torpor so lure it to shallow water and trap it there, use darts. Arrows may likely jill it before it KOβs. It prefers superior kibble. Takes about 6 to tame a level 110 so scale it from there. Hope this helps!
Get in shallow water and trap with billboards then
1.shoot with shocking tranq dart
2.shoot with shocking tranq dart
3.feed kibble.
Super fast and annoying, just trap with dino gates and itβs an easy tame
These guys have X variants on genesis 1 and they have high torpor so be prepared. To tame them i suggest using a bloodstalker or a basilo that can tank some damage. If you using a bloodstalker stay on water surface and shoot tranqs, when it swims away go underwater and use your crossbow or harpoon. If you use basilo just let it tank it and shoot it with crossbow or harpoon. But be careful about them attacking you cuz these guys are no joke. They usually have a friend near them so you might have to kill the other one in order to tame the you want. When tamed these guys have pretty high damage scaling but lower hp. They have second attack which does bleed damage(scales with damage, wilds also have this attack) they are fast battle creatures and they have pack bonus just like megalodons so get yourself 5-6 xiphactinus and do the hunt missions with them. Hope this helps
These are pretty easy to tame, I didnβt even trap one I just had one attack my basilo near the shore and they donβt torpor run so thatβs helpful.
DO NOT APPROACH WITH BARYONYX OR OTHER SMALL MOUNT!!! IT CAN GRAB YOUR MOUNT AND THEN ITS PACKMATE WILL GRAB YOU.
Be prepared and have confidence in the ocean
Can be used to grab argents and put them into cages for taming, it's basically just a water megalo
