Stories Tips
What are some stories about the purlovia? Memorable purlovia stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
this little sht is the cause of so much heartache. my beautiful pteranodon girl, Pussie Airlines, and i were doing the carno killing quest thing and i hadn’t seen one in a while. suddenly, as i’m flying over the swamps, i see it. a lone carno terrorising the swampy residents. i knew i shouldn’t stop, but i was desperate to get that stupid quest finished so i could move on with my life that i did. i parked PA on a cliff by the redwoods, looking over the swamp. i took out my rifle and took aim. all of a sudden, i’m flung off the fcking cliff and fall into the marsh. i’m swarmed by the carno, who is now being backed by a baryonyx, two kapros and a sarco. throughout the battering, i don’t have a chance to defend myself while i’m frantically blowing my whistle to keep PA from trying to defend me, she’s on neutral, before i’m killed. i rush around my base, watching for that dreadful message that my precious PA was killed, but nothing shows up. i make a new pteranodon saddle and strap it onto unnamed pteranodon male and set off. i don’t care if he dies, i don’t care if i die, i don’t give a flying fck( hehe get it) about any of the sht that was in my inventory when i died, i wanted Pussie Airlines. i flew towards the cliff where i had left PA and was overjoyed when i found her sitting exactly where i had placed her. i tried to whistle for her to follow, but she suddenly shot up and started flying rapidly in circles. as i got closer, i saw this little sht running after her. during the tussle, i tried to decide whether or not to hop off unnamed pteranodon male and help or to just sacrifice unnamed pteranodon male, he had virtually no stamina left and i was still flying on him so i couldn’t use him to attack it, when PA goes off the cliff. i watch in horror as PA circles the band of carnivores that took my life, whistling for her to ‘stop’ ‘follow’ anything that may get her to abandon her vengeful pursuit, but to no avail. i watched helplessly as she was killed. i had no chance to grab her creature implant because those disgusting savages tore her body to pieces the second she was gone. i looked back at the cliff to see that while i was gone she had laid an egg. my biggest regret was not going back for that stupid fcking egg. the last gift my baby left for me and i disregarded it as useless. i flew home, heartbroken as the sky darkened and the clouds cried with me. that day, i learned the engram for the gravestone i had so foolishly overlooked as an unnecessary decoration and placed one in memory of my favourite baby, right on her little balcony. i’ve massacred every carno, kapro, sarco, bary and purlovia i have since encountered and will not stop until their rotting corpses fill the hole left in my heart. i have a whole little cemetery in my base now, it’s really cute.
So I was in the redwoods with my argy and I flew too close to the ground until I dismounted my argy and was attacked took me time to figure out wtf just happened until I found out it was a purlovia now I never seen a purlovia in the redwoods that's mostly because they barely surface so remember this story the next time you feel safe in the redwoods
So I was flying around trying to gain some levels on my new pteranodon when I saw a explorer note so I went down to get it. When I was close I was shot out from the sky and stunned! This purlovia came out and in 10 seconds my level 175 pteranodon and all my ascendant and master craft stuff was gone. I hate pulovias.
So I was flying on my argen and I see this big patch of
Dirt that looked interesting so I flew closer... RAWR! I get tore off of my argen and olmost died but then I thought wait this is my dream tame. I then got it half way tamed and started looking up it’s stats and... it can’t be picked up by an argen and there is no saddle for it? I mean srsly? Plz up this👍
Welcome to the simulation!
You just made a massive beach base. You live in a PVP map we’re being raided is not an if, it’s a when. You make turrets to protect your goods, Dino’s in the yard are agressive, you have parasails every 10 feet. What you didn’t know is that the local alpha tribe is on the hunt for resources. They attack in numbers, killing off all your animals and burning your base to the ground. Your loot is gone, Dino’s dead, and base in ruins. Sound familiar? Here’s how it could have gone.
The local alpha tribe attacks but is taken off guard by a line of living land mines. Your parasaurs have time to panic, setting of the alarm and you can quickly kill the dismounted, stunned attackers. They never stood a chance. The only difference between these two scenario? One base had purlovias. These living land mines are great guards or caravan blockers. Get a bunch of them around your base and burry them. Line the wall with parasaurs and your good.
Person who says Google is outdated, purlovia WAS a herbivore, the purlovia in ARK are totally innacurate, if they were realistic they would probably
• live only in deserts and temperate forests.
• eat a diet of mainly savoroot.
• not burrow at all.
• be about half the size.
• likely be bald, real purplovias were very, VERY early mammals to the point that they weren't totally mammals yet, so they may not yet have developed fur.
when tilo and i head from the grand hills to the snowy pines,i saw a pile of dirt and i realized that the purlovias can jump out of the pile of dirt and ambushed us,i am ready to tame it and so i did.his name is dettan and i upgrade his stats but here's the problem, there's no purlovia saddle and you can't ride the purlovia,im not sure why????
I was just trying to tame a gigapithicus while bringing it to a taming pen through the redwoods the next thing that happens though was unusual..a purlovia jumped incredibly high out of the ground almost stunning my argy and the gigapithicus. (it jumped as high as two spinos stacked on top of each other)
I was going for a fly on my PT, Gargoyle, around the redwoods. I had heard it was scenic, and by god it was. I had no clue purlos were in mobile, so when I saw one I got so excited and started following it. I looked away for a moment, becoming distracted by a diplodocus. I searched the whole area in vain, sad at the despawning or death of my badger friend. I just assumed the local terror birds got to him. I forgot that they burrowed. I landed for a moment, hoping he’d aggro me and show up again. I got my wish and the biggest jumps are of my life. Be careful around these fellas!
