Passive tamed a level 12 (+5 levels) with 15 mejoberries. If you can situate yourself under it’s legs, specifically between the two front ones, the diplo will continue to try and bump you back but will be unsuccessful. It will do this move over and over again, and drain its stamina and hunger faster, which leads to a faster tame.
The first time you feed it it goes really slow but after that it’s like every 15 seconds(berries)
These are INCREDIBLY useful tames to have in mobile, and here’s why:
In Raids; In mobile, we don’t have cryopods. Due to this, turret soaking becomes a problem, in that it’s difficult and takes time to get all tames you need to soak to the enemy base. These guys are very fast, very easy to tame, and are tanky health-sinks even at low levels; making them the PERFECT soakers in mobile. need more? Go get some balm and mejoberries, and you’ve got your replacement in under 12 minutes.
Used as a construction tool, they’re the same size as a bronto, meaning you can easily build tall structures & tree platform bases using his sheer height. He has a lot of weight as well, meaning if you have an enormous amount of metal walls/pillars/ what have you, he can hold it for you.
Used for transportation, the same is true; he has SO MUCH WEIGHT! And he’s very fast, with 10 seats in his saddle. If you need to move base, he’s your man.
That’s my Ted talk, up for noobs to see.
It just shoves you around when you get close and shoves you when you do damage to them but there shove Don't do damage but tamed ones do
When trying to tame they are a passive tame meaning you don’t knock it out. Also keep in mind when trying to tame they are extremely playful and will try to push you back.
Poor guys just wanna make friends but accidentally yeets them of a cliff
I feel so bad for them cause in the redwoods (where my base is) I see them fighting terror birds and since they can’t do damage they just slowly die
Just make sure you aren’t at the edge of a cliff...
Do not punch it when you are 15min away from finishing a passive tame of a level 140...:/
Taking this sauropod is no joke, but here are some tips to help you out:
1. Knockout taming is a little easier, and faster, however, it requires much more food, and in passive taming, the effectiveness is higher, either is ok, so choose one that works for you, I just prefer passive taming it
2. I highly recommend a trap, knocking it out would be difficult without, and could kill you, if it knocks you off a cliff. In passive, any time it is hit by a wild creature, it resets the taming bar, so a trap is essential, especially the higher level it is.
3. Honestly Mejos work great, but are a lot slower, yet easier to get than kibble. Effectiveness is near perfect with them so don’t worry.
4. If passive taming, you can stand slightly farther back than its back legs, and it will try to hit you and be unable, so it will keep trying to hit, and you can stand there forever, feeding it
5. After the first feed (in passive taming), it needs to wait around 15 to 25 minutes (in my experience) before it eats again. Then it is around 20 seconds, unless its hunger is full, in which case it will let you feed it again when it goes down enough for whatever food you are using.
Hope this was helpful, happy taming!
Name it taxi or uber and charge people to ride on it
I feel really bad for these guys.Sometimes I see them getting killed my raptors, terrorbirds, carnos, ect and everytime i see one getting killed i have that strong urge to help the diplo... C'mon terror birds or raptors mess with something your'e own size i feel bad for them i really do😭
Whenever life goes good for me one of these guys comes outta no where and knocks my off a cliff
Hate to the wild green male level 111 who has a 12 kill streak on me
Tip stay away if he chase you and go back if he stop chasing you
Wear a ghille suit, they won't attack
Can passive tame OR knock it out, for more food though.
