Fastest way to tame

Knock out: ankylo.

Keep unconscious: ankylo.

Give ankylo: berries.

And BOOM! You have ankylo.

If you are playing with someone and want to tame and anky, follow these steps and I think you & your buddy will get an anky. Step 1: Get any weapon that can shoot tranq darts/arrows. Step 2: Get any flyer that is able to pick the anky like a quetzal. Step 3: Grab the anky with the arge or have your friend do it. Step 4: Very carefully shoot the anky with the tranq darts/arrows. Step 5: once the anky is 1 tranq dart/arrow away from being knock out, put the anky down and shoot it with the last tranq dart/arrow so that if you didn't drop it it doesn't fall and possibly die if it's weak. Shoot it in the face whilst going backwards there to slow to reach you when it runs away go in front of it and carry on shooting it in the face with tranqs.

1. Get tranq arrows and a crossbow

2. Find an anky of your desire

3. Shoot it in the head while walking backwards (they're slow so you can just walk while shooting)

4. When it runs away chase after it and shoot it

5. It'll be knocked out.

6. Feed it recommend food and any narcos if needed.

7. Congratulations!

They get about 3x more metal than you! And depending on the level they can easily kill Raptors and other small predators.

They're found almost everywhere

Ankylosaurus-

Ah yes… while lookin like a endgame creature! It is infact a starter creature! It’s strong but slow. With also a large health pool. I think slowness is worth it! But you can pair them with many creatures like argentavis!

Taming Food-

I recommend using Mejoberries if you are just starting playing on the map. I recommend if you can do regular kibble!

Taming-

Slingshots possible! But not recommended! Use tranq darts or arrows! But use darts if it’s high level! Do not use darts on low levels!

How to tame a anky!! :O

This Guide applies to The Island only.

First of all, let’s talk about the utilities of a Anky. They are amazing metal gatherers! It also has a weight reduction to metal. So any time you run out of metal, (which for me i run out of metal all the time) use an anky!

Now here is what you need to tame one:

- 10-20 Tranq arrows and a bow/crossbow (varies on the level)

-Berries and/or kibble

A couple notes about taming:

You won’t need any bolas, but if you want you could bring a big bear trap. Even though it’s unnecessary.

Also It’s torpor drops really slowly. So narcotics aren’t usually needed.

Now you maybe be wondering, where do I find this dude? One spot is on herbivore island. It’s way on the right side of the island. On your map it sticks out in the ocean. Another place is the Red Woods. And only go there if you are DESPERATE. It is near the area where the swamps and red woods meet. There are tons of other spots and you can find them on YouTube

Now how do you tame a anky?

Well once you have gathered all of your items you will need need to find your anky, shoot it and walk backward while shooting your tranqs. It won’t take very many tranqs, depending on the level. But then its knocked out! Now feed the berries or kibble of your choice and boom! You have a anky!!
