The megalania is a very fun creature to use but it is not worth taking it unless you want to have a bit of fun. They are pretty weak to and personally I donβt think they should take Extraordinary kibble. I have a 225 one with 334.3 Melee and it only does 34 damage. They are also sooo slow so you spend half of your levels in speed. Also they are in a very dangerous place because you can normally only find them in a cave which is not safe at all. On ragnarok they spawn in the volcano biome were the wycern trench is and they also spawn around all bugs like mantis, areno, arthroplura, titanaboa and of course the dung beetle. The volcanic biome also have rexes and all other trouble. A lot of alpha spawn there and it is right next to the highland biome were gigas spawn and they tend to wander in the volcanos biome, so megalania are really not that good at all

Has the Tyla's climbing ability but on steroids, can even climb upside down...
Megalanias are simply the best climber that isnβt a rock drake because thylas and deinonychus are extremely buggy when climbing. Theyβre great for caving and taming things by climbing around, just beware that their bite does almost no damage against tames. Utilize their rider weaponry and bring a shotgun or compound bow.

Reasonably easy to tame. Get yourself a breeding pair, and you got yourself an infinite toxin farm. The babies drop toxin.
These can be used as a deadly bioweapon against enemy tribes:every bite of a megalania has a chance of inflicting highly contagious health draining rabies, so just one bite from a megalania can kill many more players and the rider of the megalania is immune, that combined with their brilliant wall climbing ability means that they can sneak into an enemy base and spread a deadly plague which can only be treated with a lesser antidote which is incredibly difficult to get seeing as the best way to get it also inflicts a deadly disease only curable by it
You can shoot from its back 360Β° unlike other creatures that only have a 180Β° range (half circle) to Climb you must right click. Its very helpful for taming things because you can shoot from any angle and stick to any surface
You can take the Megalania to Aberration and use it in the radioactive zone it will not be infected with radiation
Honestly one of the most underrated creatures. It's like a thyla, but better (in terms of ability.)
It can climb like a thyla, but can move in any direction and stick to any surface. The only downside is that they're pretty much exclusive to caves, so taming them can be difficult. They can also give you mega rabies, a disease that saps your health away for about a minute.
