Once tamed, the tapejara is a great mount for taming or fighting other creatures. Have yourself or a tribemate fly the tapejara while a passenger in the back seat shoots down at a creature with darts or arrows. The tapejara's unique ability to strafe midair and fly backwards enables the rider to also chase after fleeing creatures such as other tapejara's or other flying creatures. The passenger in the back can also easily attack flying bugs and vultures that may be chasing your bed down.

Go to a bronto switch seats and the big sauropod will helplessly watch as you shoot it on the face with your tranq ammo

This guy is the only way to solo tame a quetzal, get in the passenger seat and whistle it to the quetz, tranq the quetz and then whistle passive. Repeat and you got a quetzal.
This Dino is my favorite on the island for various reasons. First, it can hold 2 passengers, a pilot, and carry another. Second, it is the most maneuverable flyer out there. It can fly sideways, backwards, and can land on vertical surfaces (cliffs, redwoods.) Third, it has a tek saddle, so you can have four dubs on that thing (tek saddle, 2 passengers, and one carried person.)
If you are middle sky up qnd your tapejara stamina stamina runs out just change your seat and it will gain it stamina back up for noobs to seeπͺ
So these flyers are just so awesome! They are even part of my main Dinoβs I use! The6 are useful because they are almost like the thylacoleos of the redwoods in ark mobile but instead can fly. These creatures can latch onto trees and rocks. Sadly they canβt move while doing these things but it is still very useful on multiplayer. Hope this helps my friends!
So these guys are just my favorite like they are very useful. Due to the fact that they can attack on land unlike the pteranodon. So very useful in fact. Though they can be pretty rare they are worth it to tame in single and multiplayer. And it can even hand on rocks, redwood trees and more. But what I would realy like for it to have is the diving ability since the only Dino that can dive on ark mobile would be the griffin. I hope ther realy add this. Hope these tips helped!
you donβt need to upgrade itβs stamina, if you are in the air and itβs stamina is low, just get in the back seat and wait for itβs stamina to recover, no need to land, if you donβt whistle it to follow, it will land automatically. I hope this helps :)
The tapeJara is bird that is able to land on the side of redwood trees grest for hiding or raiding tree platforms.
