Breeding them is fairly easy. The gestation period is about 3 hours. Once they are born you have to force feed them non-poisenous mushrooms till they reach about 1.0%. Their baby cycle moves pretty quickly. About 2.5% per hour est.
So far, mainly encountered them around the portal (easy spawn). Tame passively with aquatic mushrooms. New mushrooms in aberration can be obtained through plant foraging, yielding fiber, sometimes berries and mushrooms. Use as a shoulder pet to help deter but not stop the nameless. It will hold a “charge”. Certain pets and charge sticks (able to be kept in inventory) are able to be recharged at (currently green colored) computer terminals. I’ve seen three along the river banks in the central area of the map. Beware of all the spinosaurs and krakinos.
Many new environmental and creature variables are included in abberation to punish the unprepared players. The nameless to name a few.
Passive tame, provides light, the light keeps nameless away, but draws reapers and seekers, it’s inventory acts like a fridge, doubles the life of spoilibles and preserving salts increase the length more, can store honey as long as a bear can.
